Our Lotto draw was held at the weekend and there was no winner of the jackpot. The numbers were 4-7-15-30. The three €25 winners were Mairead Nolan, Emma & Sarah Reid and Vincent Tivnan. Our next lotto draw will be on Saturday 15th December with a jackpot of €6600. Congratulations and thanks for the support.

Our third €100 fundraiser draw was held on the 24th November in Cullen’s Lakeview Lounge. The winners were: €500-Shane Hughes. €500-Ben Reid, €100-Shay Geoghegan, €100-Orlaith Byrne + Jack Boud, Turkey Voucher-Jeanette Neary and Ballymore Inn Voucher-Shann Morris. Congratulations to all the winners. The final draw for this year will take place before Christmas.

We will be hosting a “Christmas Wonderland Fair” in our GAA grounds on the afternoon of Sunday the 16th of December. There will be a wide range of events on the day including carol singing, an elves workshop and a range of stalls selling everything. The big man in red will also be making an appearance on the day! Anyone who is interested in taking a stall on the day to sell their products could they please get in contact with Aidan Miley or Shay Geoghegan. The cost of each stall is only €20. Everyone welcome.

Big thanks to everyone who came out and supported Tadgh Miley, in O’Connor’s on Friday 30th November, for the table quiz in aid of the Chara Project. We wish him the very best of luck.

Our AGM is being held on Friday 14th December at 7:30pm in the Valleymount Hall. All welcome to attend.

Please note that our Christmas Party Night for Valleymount GAA players, members and supporters in Cullen’s on Saturday the 8th December has been cancelled due to another event in the community. We thank Liz for the gesture and hope to have a gathering there in the near future.
