It was a busy weekend with two matches taking place in the field last Saturday. The first game saw the Under 14 girls team take on Bray in the league, unfortunately losing out in the end on a scoreline of 5.03 to 3.03. The second game on the day was a local derby in the men’s Division 3 match against Kilbride. Valleymount were always in control of the game eventually running out 1.11 to 0.05 winners in deteriorating conditions. The game suffered two interruptions with firstly an injury to referee Pat Molloy and then a nasty head injury to Valleymount full back Andy Farrington. We wish both a speedy recovery.
