Hard luck to the ladies intermediate team who were narrowly defeated in their Leinster quarter final in Westmeath on Sunday afternoon. In a game that went down to the wire, the ladies again did the club proud but unfortunately it was not meant to be on the day. Their performances this year have provided great entertainment to all who followed them and they lifted the spirits of the club and set an example of what can be achieved to all teams in the club.
Next lotto draw takes place on Saturday 11th October. Jackpot now stands at €5,300. Please have tickets back to Leo’s by 9pm Saturday night.
The club are holding a race night on Bank Holiday Sunday 26th October in Leo’s. Racecards are circulating with club members so if you fancy being a owner, trainer or jockey for the the night, €10 will secure your place on the card.
